The teacher proudly shared that she hasn’t missed receiving this kind of award since 2018.
She said it’s a testament to her dedication to teaching and to her students.
"I am proud to share that I have achieved perfect attendance as a DepEd teacher, with a record of 173 out of 173 days present S.Y. 2024-2025," she said on her Facebook post.
"This accomplishment reflects my unwavering commitment, dedication, and passion for teaching and serving my students. Despite the challenges and demands of the profession, I have consistently shown up ready to teach, inspire, and make a difference every single day."
"This milestone is not just a number, but a testament to my strong sense of responsibility and love for my role as an educator.”
"Perfect Attendance since 2018,” she added.
In an interview with Balita, Apuada shared that she taught in a private school for six years and has been serving as a public school teacher under the Department of Education (DepEd) for seven years. She teaches Science at Sampaguita High School in Caloocan City.
She said she is always present at school because, as a teacher, it is her responsibility to show up for her students no matter what—even when she is going through personal challenges.
There’s no real secret—only discipline, passion, and a strong sense of purpose. She stays healthy, manages time wisely, and maintains a positive mindset.
"Every day in school is a chance to make a difference, don't miss it," she finally said for teachers. Congratulations, Teacher Mabelle!
