MANILA, Philippines – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) will release results of March 2, 2025 Civil Service Exam- Paper and Pencil Test (CSE-PPT), also known as Career service examination on or before May 2, 2025, or within 61 calendar days after the exam.
The alphabetical list of passers for Professional level for Region 5 (Bicol Region) is available on this page once released.
CSC said that a total of 318,973 examinees took the Career Service Examination across 95 testing centers. This comprised 287,254 examinees for the CSE-Professional Level, and 31,719 examinees for the Subprofessional Level.

RELEASE OF RESULTS
The exact release date of CSE-PPT results was announced on Thursday, March 6.
"The list of passers will be posted on the CSC website not later than 2 May 2025," CSC said in a statement on Thursday, March 6.
In previous update, CSC was targeting May 10, 2025 release of results as stated in calendar of civil service examinations for Year 2025 and Examination Advisory No. 03 series 2025.
OCSERGS/VERIFICATION OF RATING
Examinees, whether they passed or failed, may access their individual test results through the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS), available via the CSC website starting May 17, 2025 (Saturday), or as specified in the official advisory.
CERTIFICATE OF ELIGIBILITY TO PASSERS
Passers may request for a Certification of Eligibility (CoE) printed on CSC official letterhead. The letterhead CoE is issued free of charge by the concerned CSC Regional or Field Office where the exam was taken.
"PASSERS ARE STRONGLY ADVISED TO VERIFY/CHECK FIRST THE AVAILABILITY OF THE CERTIFICATION BEFORE GOING TO THE CSC REGIONAL/FIELD OFFICE. Check out CSC ROs/FOs Directory here," CSC emphasized.
EXAM OVERVIEW
The Career Service Professional and Sub-professional examinations are general ability tests designed to measure an individual's preparedness to enter government service.
Passing rate is set at 80 percent.
The CSC said that eligibility is a minimum requirement along with education, experience, and training for permanent appointment to government career service positions.
