MANILA, Philippines – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) is set to announce on Friday, May 2, 2025 the complete results of March 2, 2025 Civil Service Exam- Paper and Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) also known as Career service examination.
CSC said that a total of 318,973 examinees took the Career Service Examination on March 2, 2025 across 95 testing centers nationwide. This comprised 287,254 examinees for the CSE-Professional Level, and 31,719 examinees for the Subprofessional Level.
Among the regions, the National Capital Region reported the biggest turnout of examinees at 46,312 test takers, followed by Region IV with 37,420 and Region III with 23,019.

REMINDERS
Examinees, both passed and failed, can generate their individual test result using the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS) not later than May 17, 2025 (Saturday) or as indicated in the corresponding issuance/advisory.
Passers may request for a Certification of Eligibility (CoE) printed on CSC official letterhead. The letterhead CoE is issued free of charge by the concerned CSC Regional or Field Office where the exam was taken.

EXAM OVERVIEW
The Career Service Professional and Sub-professional examinations are general ability tests designed to measure an individual's preparedness to enter government service.
Passing rate is set at 80 percent.
The CSC said that eligibility is a minimum requirement along with education, experience, and training for permanent appointment to government career service positions.
