MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will release on Monday, April 14, the results of March-April 2025 Physician Licensure Exam (PLE). These include the list of top performing schools and performance of schools.
PRC administered the first Physician board exam this year in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on March 30 and 31 and April 6 and 7, 2025.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the October 2024 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE), University of the Philippines (UP) - Manila led the schools with 96.97% or 160 out of 165 passed. Cebu Institute of Medicine (CIM) came in second with 95.31% or 122 out of 128 passed.
In the April 2024 PLE, University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center was the top performing school with 89.23% or 58 out of 65 passed. University of Santo Tomas (UST) came in second with 84.85% or 56 out of 66 passed.
In the October 2023 PLE, UP-Manila topped the schools with 97.62% or 164 out of 168 passed. Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) ranked second with 97.32% or 109 out of 112 passed.
In the March 2023 Physician board exams, UST was the lone top performing school with 83.61% or 51 out of 61 passed.
