MANILA, Philippines – The March-April 2025 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) or Physician board exam results, including the official list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools, are expected to be released online on Monday, April 14, 2025, or four (4) working days after the exam.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) conducted the first Physician board exam this year in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on March 30 and 31 and April 6 and 7, 2025.
The members of the Board of Medicine who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Zenaida L. Antonio, Chairman; Dr. Godofreda V. Dalmacion, Dr. Eleanor B. Almoro, Dr. Martha O. Nucum, Dr. Efren C. Laxamana and Dr. Joanna V. Remo, Members.

RELEASE OF RESULTS
According to PRC Resolution No. 1927 s. 2024, the March and April 2025 Physician board exam results will be released on Monday, April 14, 2025, or four (4) working days.
NOTE: Results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.
REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING
PRC said that registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Date of Registration: TBA
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
VERIFICATION OF RATINGS
Physician board exam's verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.
Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service and enter the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.
COVERAGE OF EXAMINATION
The PLE or medicine board exam covered the following subjects:
March 30: biochemistry, anatomy and histology, microbiology and parasitology
March 31: physiology, legal medicine, ethics and medical jurisprudence and pathology
April 6: pharmacology and therapeutics surgery and opthalmology, otolaryngology and rhinology and medicine
April 7: obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and nutrition and preventive medicine and public health
PREVIOUS EXAMS
In the October 2024 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE), PRC released results in three (3) working days after the exams. The agency named 3,845 out of 6,600 who successfully passed the exams. Isaac Edron Jones Orig from Davao Medical School Foundation topped the board with 89.33%.
In the April 2024 PLE, PRC also announced results in 3 working days after the exams. A total of 1,906 out of 3,434 successfully passed the exams. Christopher Niño Duane Camay Mendoza from Matias H. Aznar Memorial College of Medicine, Inc. aced the board with 89.25%.
In the October 2023 PLE, PRC released results in seven (7) working days after the exams. The agency named 4,083 out of 6,456 who successfully passed the exams. Justin Riley Yap Lam from Cebu Institute of Medicine led the passers with 89.00%.
In the March 2023 Physician board exams, PRC announced results in 3 working days. A total of 1,573 out of 2,887 passed the exams. Aira Cassandra Suguitan Castro from Mariano Marcos State University - Batac topped the board with 89.00%.
