MANILA, Philippines – One mom went viral after receiving mixed reactions over the gown she wore to her daughter’s graduation ceremony. And while so many people bashed her for what they believed was an inappropriate outfit, there were actually some who praised her confidence.

A few personalities also offered to buy her another gown, get her into a model photoshoot, or simply offered money. Wow.
The mom was identified as Bernadeth Flores Cutas, who turns out to be a content creator from Cebu. Now that she has gone viral, she quickly gained so many followers, now reaching at least 400k people.
The photos that went viral were first bashing Mommy Bernadeth for the ‘inappropriate outfit’ without even identifying her or covering her face. While the comments and memes were quite harsh, she took it all in stride and later posted a statement that she doesn’t hate her bashers at all.

During the event, Mommy Bernadeth wore a backless white gown. Interestingly, while the form-fitting gown had a high halter neckline, it also had a bold front keyhole cut-out that begins just below the collarbone and extends down to the midriff, showing skin in a tasteful yet daring way.
There also appears to be a thigh-high front slit that adds a touch of drama to her outfit.
Overall, while the dress was elegant and fit her perfectly, many netizens believe that it was more appropriate for joining beauty pageants or a showbiz awards night, not a school event.
Memes also joked that Mommy Bernadeth didn’t join the PTA meeting prior to the event, because she would have known that the gown was inappropriate for her daughter’s ceremony in school.
