MANILA, Philippines – The iconic Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) is ushering a new era for its 20th anniversary. For the first time, Kuya's house will open its doors to its new home, GMA Network, as "PBB Celebrity Collab Edition” premieres on March 9, 2025.
In a historic moment, both Kapamilya and Kapuso artists will join as housemates this season. This marks the first time the audiences will see Star Magic and Sparkle artists inside Big Brother’s house together in one frame!
“In the past, we had celebrity editions, we had from different industries, sports or social media. For the first time, puro artista. This time, we are doing a standalone celebrity edition,” PBB main host Bianca Gonzalez said.
The head of Star Magic, director Laurenti “Lauren” Dyogi recently shed light on whether Kapamilya and Kapuso stars from other managements would be entering the house. He clarified, “Well, that was a decision point, the housemates have to be signed up with Sparkle or Star Magic."
Direk Lauren expressed gratitude to GMA bosses as "they agreed to go through the process of the selection of the housemates. They agree with the tradition and the rules that we’ve been doing for all the auditions of Big Brother. Walang kahirap-hirap makipag-collaborate, especially for this.”

Few days before the premiere, ABS-CBN and GMA released a teaser of the celebrity housemates for the viewers to guess.

Based on the teaser, the some of the rumored celebrity housemates are Bianca De Vera, Cianne Dominguez, Brent Manalo, Esnyr, Emilio Daez, Kira Balinger, Ralph De Leon, River Joseph, Daniela Stranner, Raven Rigor, and AC Bonifacio (Star Magic); Lianne Valentin, Caitlyn Stave, Olive May, Charlie Fleming, Josh Ford, Glaiza De Castro, Ysabel Ortega, Will Ashley, Bryce Eusebio, Shayne Sava, Shan Vesagas, Mariel Pamintuan, Dustin Yu and Michael Sager (Sparkle).

Kapamilya talent Darren Espanto and Kapuso star Julie Anne San Jose will lend their voices to the iconic Pinoy Big Brother theme "Sikat ang Pinoy," delivering an exciting new rendition for the much awaited PBB Celebrity Collab Edition.

PBB is yet to reveal the voting partner for PBB Collab Edition.
In previous season, the show partnered with Maya to serve as the season's official finance and voting system, with some twists inserted in the show.

The "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition" will debut on GMA Network, airing on weeknights at 10 p.m. and on weekends at 6:15 p.m.
