LET RESULTS March 2025: Elementary, Secondary List of Passers

LET RESULTS MARCH 2025 – The March 2025 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) or teachers board exam results, together with the full list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools, for Elementary and Secondary levels, are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) between May 19-30, 2025 or 35-44 working days.

PRC conducted the first regular LET board exam this year on Sunday, March 23, 2025 in at least 38 testing centers nationwide.

Testing centers include Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga.

Meanwhile, PRC designated additional test centers to accommodate the influx of examinees taking the teachers' board exam and to avoid unnecessary distant travel and additional expenses on the part of hopefuls: Bacolod, Bayambang, Bohol, Catanduanes, Cauayan, Digos, Dumaguete, General Santos, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Laguna, Maasin (Southern Leyte), Masbate, Mati, Occidental Mindoro, Oroquieta, Romblon, Tagum, and Valencia.

The Board for Professional Teachers consists of Dr. Rosita L. Navarro as Chairman, Dr. Paz I. Lucido as Vice Chairman, and Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy as Members.

RELEASE OF RESULTS

According to PRC Resolution No. 1927 series of 2024, the March 2025 LET results will be released on May 23, 2025 (Friday) or thirty-nine (39) working days after the exams.

The computed total number of workdays excludes 8 Saturdays, 8 Sundays and six (6) holidays on April 1 (Eid'l Fitr), April 9 (The Day of Valor), April 17 (Maundy Thursday), April 18 (Good Friday), May 1 (Labor Day), and May 12 (Philippine general election).

PRC Board News, our partner website for PRC exam results, said that the probable release date of March 2025 LET results is between May 19-30, 2025 or 35-44 working days after the exam.

Note that results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice. This is due to several factors such as the total number of examinees, effect of work cancellations due to calamities and unforeseen events, and system of checking the pencil-based tests.

SCHEDULE OF REGISTRATION

The online registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be held on below schedule.

Those who will register must go to PRC's official site https://online.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for smooth transactions. Ensure that you have below requirements ready:

  • downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • notice of admission (for identification only)
  • 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps
  • 1 piece short brown envelope

PRC further advised passers to personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

VERIFICATION OF RATINGS

All examinees, passed or failed, may verify their rating within few working days after the results were posted.

Visit the PRC Official site and proceed to the Verification Page.

Provide the required details such as examination name, exam date, application number, first name, last name, and birthdate.

OATH-TAKING

PRC typically announces the schedule and venue of the oathtaking ceremony a few days after the release of exam results.

Those interested in attending the face-to-face mass oathtaking shall register not later than 12:00 NN of the day prior to the date of the oathtaking at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm their attendance.

Inductees are required to PRINT the Oath Form with their own generated QR. This will be submitted during the oathtaking to be tagged as "attended".

Those who cannot attend the scheduled face-to-face mass oathtaking may attend the online oathtaking or request a special oathtaking. Oathtaking announcements will be posted once the schedule is confirmed.

Passers may secure an online appointment schedule at http://online.prc.gov.ph and select “e-OATH” as transaction.

The online registration will close five (5) calendar days before the virtual oathtaking day. Inductees are required to print the "OATH OF PROFESSIONAL" form downloadable from the PRC official website under PRC Online Services.

After the oathtaking, inductees shall proceed with their Initial Registration by securing an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph.

PASSING RATE OF LET

To pass the LET, aspirant must obtain an average rating of not less than 75% and must have no rating lower than 50% in any of the tests.

Note that passing the teacher licensure exam and having valid professional license from the Commission are necessary before the practice of teaching profession in the Philippines. Otherwise, those who will violate may face fine and imprisonment based on penal provisions.

COVERAGE OF EXAMINATION

The March 2025 LET covered two (2) parts for Elementary - General Education (40%) and Professional Education (60%) and three (3) parts for Secondary - General Education (20%), Professional Education (40%) and Specialization (40%).

The exam evaluates key areas of General Education, including English, Filipino, Mathematics, Science, and Social Sciences.

It also assesses Professional Education, covering essential topics such as the teaching profession, social dimensions of education, principles of teaching, educational technology, curriculum development, learning facilitation, child and adolescent development, student assessment, developmental reading, field study, and practice teaching.

For Secondary Teachers, the test includes eight specialized subject areas based on the chosen field: English, Filipino, Science, Mathematics, Social Studies, Values Education, MAPEH (Music, Arts, PE & Health), and TLTVE (Technology Livelihood & Tech-Voc Education).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Only Mathematics (under Specialization subject) was allowed to use calculator in conjunction with specific features. The modification is pursuant to Resolution No. 25, series of 2019 issued by the Board for Professional Teachers.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS

In the September 2024 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET), PRC released results in fifty-one (51) working days. A total of 20,025 elementary teachers out of 44,002 examinees (45.51%) and 48,875 secondary teachers out of 85,926 examinees (56.88%) successfully hurdled the exams. West Visayas State University - La Paz topped the schools for Elementary Level with 96.40% or 107 out of 111 passed (100 or more examinees category). In the Secondary level, Cebu Normal University led the schools with 94.32% or 797 out of 845 passed (300 or more takers category).

In the March 2024 LET, PRC announced results in forty-seven (47) working days after the exams. A total of 20,890 elementary teachers out of 44,764 examinees (46.67%) and 50,539 secondary teachers out of 85,980 examinees (58.78%) successfully passed the exams. Cebu Technological University (CTU)-Main topped the Elementary Level with 85.59% or 291 out of 340 passed (300 or more examinees category). Meanwhile, Philippine Normal University (PNU)-Manila led the schools for Secondary level with 98.96% or 381 out of 385 passed (300 or more examinees).

In the September 2023 LET, PRC released results in fifty-five (55) working days after the exams. A total of 23,782 elementary teachers out of 50,593 examinees (47.01%) and 53,995 secondary teachers out of 95,969 examinees (56.26%) successfully passed the exams. University of Santo Tomas (UST) and Cebu Technological University (CTU)-Argao tied on highest spot for Elementary Level while UST occupied the top place for Secondary Level.
