MANILA, Philippines – Several schools suspended classes for Tuesday, February 25, 2025 to commemorate the 39th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution.
Based on Proclamation No. 727 signed by Executive Secretary Lucas P. Bersamin in October last year, the EDSA People Power Revolution anniversary was declared a special working day.
In 2024, the event was not included in the list of holidays because it fell on a Sunday. In 2023 and prior years, February 25 was declared a special non-working holiday.
Here are the schools that suspended classes on February 25, 2025:
