In the viral video with her colleague Caizer Jhon Lumibao, they can be seen checking the board exam results on the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) website using a cellphone.

Even while on duty, board passer Lyka Jane Nagal couldn't contain her joy upon learning that she passed the LET and is now a certified teacher.

Lyka immediately shared her success with her family, especially with her mother.

A moment later, Lyka sat down for a while and became emotional in a corner. Shortly after, she stood up and resumed her work.

The video has already garnered millions of views across various platforms. It was also featured on The Summit Express.

In an interview with The Summit Express, Lyka shared that she is 20 years old and hails from Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija. She is currently still working at McDonald's inside SM Cabanatuan. She is also a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in English, from Holy Cross College in her hometown.

When asked if she had always dreamed of becoming a teacher as a child, she said that her only wish back then was to be a “happy person.” However, she believes that the idea of becoming a teacher came to her while playing “teacher-teacheran” with her childhood friends, where she always took on the role of a teacher.

She never imagined that what she had manifested as a child would come true, and now, it seems like it was truly destined for her.

Teacher Lyka also shared that during her review journey, the biggest challenge for all board takers, especially future Licensed Professional Teachers (LPTs), is themselves.

"Isipin mo kung ano talaga 'yong gusto mong mangyari, gusto mo bang pumasa? Gusto mo bang matulog lang sa hapon? Gusto mo bang mag-review? Gusto mo bang makita 'yong pangalan mo sa result ng boards kapag lumabas na?" she said.

During the actual LET, she was caught off guard by unexpected challenges that shook her, including her black shoes breaking apart. She held back her tears, fearing that losing focus could jeopardize all the hard work she had put in.

Although she initially didn’t believe in superstitions—such as sharpening a pencil using a topnotcher’s sharpener or wearing red underwear—she eventually followed them in the end.

And now, she is a licensed professional teacher!

Her message to all, “Laging tatandaan, life doesn't have a template. Hindi natin kailangang gumaya sa iba, hindi natin kailangang magkaroon ng meron 'yong iba. You have to utilize every resources that you had, and you have to be mindful enough of your current mental situation..."

Congratulations, Teacher Lyka!
