MANILA, Philippines – The February 2025 Mechanical Engineer (ME) and Certified Plant Mechanics (CPM) board exam results, including the list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools, are released online on Monday, February 24, 2025 or in three (3) working days after the exam.
As announced, 3,089 out of 6,318 (48.89%) passed the Mechanical Engineers Licensure Examination.
The results of examination with respect to two (2) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.
Update 11:00 am, February 24: PRC alerts takers of MELE, CPMLE results today.
"The moment you've all been waiting for is almost here. The results of the MELE and CPMLE are about to be revealed! Keep an eye on our updates—success is just around the corner!," PRC said.
Update 9:30 am, February 24: In an interview, PRC Licensure Division told The Summit Express that MELE results will be released today but there's no specific time.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Mechanical Engineering administered the licensure exam in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, and Zamboanga on February 17, 18 and 19, 2025.

REGISTRATION OF PASSERS
The registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to https://online.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Date of Registration: Starting April 14, 2025
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examinations WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
VERIFICATION OF RATINGS
Mechanical Engineering board exam verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online. Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service and provide the required information to verify your identity. Note that this can be available in few days after the exam.
EXAMINATION COVERAGE
Examinations for ME board exam covered the following major subjects: industrial and power plant engineering (Day 1); mathematics, engineering economics and basic engineering services, machine design, materials and shop practice (Day 2).
RELEASE OF RESULTS
According to PRC Resolution No. 1927 s. 2024, the target release of Mechanical Engineer board exam results is on Monday, February 24 or in three (3) working days after the exam.
Note that results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.
PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the August 2024 Mechanical Engineer (ME) board exam, PRC released results in five (5) working days. The agency named 1,144 out of 3,485 who successfully passed the exams. Meanwhile, 56 out of 113 passed the Certified Plant Mechanics (CPM) Licensure Examination.
In the February 2024 Mechanical Engineer (ME) board exam, PRC announced results in three (3) working days. A total of 4,458 out of 6,770 successfully hurdled the exams. The agency also said that 65 out of 108 passed the CPM Licensure Exam.
In the August 2023 ME board exam, PRC released results in four (4) working days. A total of 2,133 out of 4,237 successfully passed the exams. Meanwhile, 104 out of 187 hurdled the CPM board exams.
In the February 2023 ME board exam, PRC announced results in 3 working days. The agency listed 3,774 out of 6,070 who passed the ME board and 65 out of 90 passed the CPM board exams.
