MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will name soon the top performing schools in the January 2025 Architect Licensure Exam (ALE). The results are expected to be released on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 or in three (3) working days after the exam.
PRC and the Board of Architecture (BoA) conducted the licensure exam in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on January 21 and 23, 2025.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the June 2024 Architect Licensure Examination (ALE), Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP)- Sta. Mesa earned the highest spot with 93.33% or 56 out of 60 passed the exams. University of Santo Tomas (UST) ranked second with 88.82% or 143 out of 161 passed.
In the January 2024 Architect Licensure Examination (ALE), UST was the lone top performing school with 82.09% or 110 out of 134 passed.
In the June 2023 ALE, University of the Philippines (UP)-Diliman clinched the top spot with 100% passing rate or all 50 of its takers passed. PUP-Sta. Mesa came in second place with 89.47% or 51 out of 57 passed.
In the January 2023 ALE, PUP-Sta. Mesa topped the schools with 91.80% or 56 out of 61 passed. UST ranked second with 81.38% or 118 out of 145 passed.
In the June 2022 architect board exam, UP-Diliman topped the schools with 97.01% or 65 out of 67 passed. UST ranked second with 88.24% or 255 out of 289 passed.
