Aside from the influx of devotees this year, the procession was also not fast and was one of the longest in the last few years as it lasted for 20 hours, 45 minutes and four seconds, according to Quiapo church officials.
The procession started at 4:41 am on Thursday and continued until 1:26 am on Friday.
This year's procession was slower than the recorded time in 2024 which was exactly 14 hours and 59.10 minutes.
