MANILA, Philippines – Solo bettor became an instant multi-millionaire after bagging Php 18.4 million from the Super Lotto 6/49 draw on Thursday, January 2, 2025, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced.
The lucky bettor guessed the winning combination of 19-48-15-11-07-24 for the exact jackpot prize of Php 18,445,722.00.
The ticket was bought from an outlet in Sta. Barbara, Iloilo City.
The bettor can claim his/her cheque at PCSO's main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two identification cards.
As provided under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than PHP10,000 shall be subject to a 20-percent tax.

Meanwhile, 26 other Super Lotto bettors guessed five out of the six two-digit winning combinations and won Php 50,000 each, the PCSO said.
About 1,531 bettors got Php 1,200 each for getting four of the winning combinations while 25,427 bettors won Php 50 each for guessing three right combinations.
Unclaimed prizes within a year shall be forfeited.
This is the third consecutive day with jackpot winner.
On New Year's Day, PCSO logged the first lotto millionaire for 2025 as lone bettor from Barangay Santol, Quezon City won the Php 57-million jackpot in the Mega Lotto.
Last December 31, two bettors from Lucena City, Quezon and Naga City, Camarines Sur bagged the 25.4 million jackpot in the Lotto 6/42.
The Super Lotto was last won on December 22, 2024 by a lucky bettor who bought winning ticket at lotto outlet in Molino 4, Bacoor City, Cavite.
The 6/49 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products in order to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
One of its key programs is the Medical Access Program (MAP), which is designed to augment the medical needs of Filipinos nationwide, particularly hospital confinement, chemotherapy, dialysis, and post-transplant medicines.
The program is funded by revenues from PCSO games nationwide.
