Who could forget the inspiring story of a former high school dropout who fell into bad habits, but worked hard in life until he completed college and became a topnotcher in the 2016 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET)?

Once featured in The Summit Express was the inspiring and success story of Michael Prince del Rosario, who, aside from being a licensed professional teacher, is also a registered nurse. Because of this, he is considered a "lucky charm" for board examinees in La Union.
And in 2024, it seems that Michael's list of professions will grow once again after he passed the Bar Examinations!
On Friday, December 13, the day the Bar results were released, Michael made a heartfelt post on Facebook for his late sister, Sarah. In the post, he shared with his late sister that he is now a full-fledged lawyer after passing the Bar, as announced by the Supreme Court of the Philippines.
“I passed the PhiLSAT on your birthday and passed the bar exam on your death anniversary,” he said.
“Iyong pinakamalungkot na araw sa buhay natin dahil nawala ka eh napalitan na ng saya.”
“That’s why I decided to wait for the Bar results with you, ading. Kahit mukha akong ewan na iyak nang iyak sa sementeryo kanina.”
“We love you, ading ko Sarah. Abogado na kuya mo.”

In his Facebook post on Saturday, December 14, Michael shared his mother's congratulatory message, expressing how proud she is of him.
“Wow may pa-post nanay ko! GenZ yarn? Ilang minuto niya kaya ito ginawa. Hahaha. Proud din kami sa inyo ni Papa, kahit ang hirap magpalaki ng mga magulang,” he said.
It was also amusing to see the review center where Michael came from, as they made a tarpaulin of him and posted it on the front of a bus.
On December 28, Michael shared his journey on how he achieved further milestones in his life though he considered studying the law as one of his weaknesses.
“Nurse na, teacher pa, tapos ngayon lawyer na. Bakit pa nagva-volleyball, hindi naman magaling?” Long post ahead, and...

With all the work Michael has now, including being a national lecturer for the review center, he admits that sometimes he gets confused.
“Litong-lito na lang ako sa trabaho ko. Paano ako mag-oobject… Injection your Honor, sir? Hahaha,” he jokingly said on a Facebook post last Wednesday, December 18.
Congratulations, Nurse, Teacher, and Atty. Michael!
