MANILA, Philippines – Feng Shui master Marites Allen revealed some of her predictions for the Year 2025. According to Chinese astrology, 2025 is considered the Year of the Wood Snake.

The feng shui master says the Year of the Wood Snake will bring the powerful energies of the snake, such as wisdom, intuition, and strategic growth. This means the upcoming year will be dynamic and will encourage us to navigate through situations with careful thought and strategic planning. It's strongly advised to avoid impulsive decisions based on emotions but to take calculated moves and risks instead.
Like any year, there will be zodiac signs that are favored, while there are those that need caution.

Allen also explained that the Year of the Wood Snake will be arriving quite earlier than the previous new years. It will be on January 29, 2025. For the Year of the Snake, it's associated with the colors of fire, such as red, pink, purple.
For the year of the Wood Snake, here's a quick look at the predictions of the 12 zodiac signs, according to feng shui master.
Rat (1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008, 2020)
As the Year of Snake favors calculated moves and strategies, the rat known for its “scheming” personality could also thrive and enjoy a good fortune.
Ox (1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009, 2021)
The hardworking Ox will also reap the fruits of its labor as it will have a good forecast for 2025. Ox is also considered a good ally of the Snake.
Tiger (1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010, 2022)
The fearless Tiger will also have to make calculated decisions next year because it will face “some issues in terms of misfortunes.”
Rabbit (1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011, 2023)

For those under the Year of the Snake, Allen said her advice, “Usually if it's your year there's some good but bad as well.” Like the Snake, you'll have to learn to be on your own and love yourself more. She advised more independent and solo trips for you to enjoy. It's better to do your feng shui right so you’ll be guided more.
Horse (1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014, 2026)
Those under the Year of the Horse will also experience a far better year than other unlucky signs if they can remain focused and avoid impulsive decisions.
Sheep (1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015)
The sensitive Sheep will also need to take on extra care as it will also face misfortunes in the Year of the Snake.
Monkey (1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016)

Allen described, “The ones who will have challenges are those who were born in the year of the Dog because you'll have misunderstandings, arguments, and infidelities.”
Pig (1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007, 2019)
Meanwhile, those under the Year of the Pig will have to be extra cautious in 2025. The Pig is the “enemy year” of the Snake, so misfortunes and challenges can be expected.
