MANILA, Philippines – Some local government units announced suspension of classes for Monday, December 2, 2024, due to bad weather brought by the shear line.
The shear line is affecting Southern Luzon while the northeast monsoon is affecting the rest of Luzon.This list will be updated as soon as local or national authorities make their advisories.

PAGASA weather bulletin
State weather bureau PAGASA is releasing rainfall warnings and associated advisories due to shear line on their social media pages.
Issued at 5:00 pm on Sunday, PAGASA said heavy to intense rainfall can be expected until tomorrow afternoon (December 2) in the areas of Quezon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.
Moderate to heavy rainfall is expected in the following areas: Laguna, Batangas, Palawan, Sorsogon, Catanduanes, Masbate, Aklan, Capiz, Antique, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Samar, and Biliran.
Tomorrow afternoon until Tuesday afternoon, the provinces of Aurora and Quezon may expect of moderate to heavy rainfall.
On their 8:00 pm bulletin on Sunday, areas of Quezon, Laguna and Batangas are under Yellow warning level (Be alert).
Meanwhile, expect light to moderate rains over Rizal, Metro Manila and Bataan within the next 3 hours. Light to moderate with occasional heavy rains affecting Cavite which may persist within 3 hours.
As of 2:00 pm on Sunday, PAGASA said No Low Pressure Areas are being monitored for tropical cyclone formation.
