MANILA, Philippines – University of the Philippines College of Law graduate topped the 2024 Bar examinations, the Supreme Court (SC) announced on Friday.
Kyle Christian Tutor got an overall rating of 85.7700% making him the topnotcher in this year's Bar examinations.

Tutor entered UP Law in 2019. While at UP Law, he also served as vice chair of the Philippine Law Journal.
Tutor earned his undergraduate degree in BA Political Science at UP Manila where he graduated as Cum Laude.
He was also awarded the Dean Carlota Award for Best Paper in Administrative Law and the Law on Public Officers and the Dean’s Medal for Academic Excellence.
According to the Abogado's report, Atty. Tutor was a former legal secretary and planning officer at the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) but resigned to focus on the 2024 Bar exams.
But after becoming topnotcher, Solicitor General Menardo Guevarra disclosed plans to invite him back to the OSG.
"He was with us for several years but resigned to review for the Bar exams. Working in a law firm like the OSG is a significant advantage. I will ask him to rejoin us,” Guevarra said.
"He served as a legal secretary and planning officer at the OSG while studying law at UP,” he added.
Meanwhile, here is the list of Top 10 in the 2024 Bar exams:

Top 10 - Raya Villacorta (San Beda).
The exams were held on September 8, 11 and 15, 2024 in 13 local testing centers across the country.
SC announced that 3,962 test-takers successfully hurdled the 2024 Bar Examinations, representing a 37.84% passing rate.
