Guinness World Records sadly announced the passing of the world's oldest man, John Tinniswood, at the age of 112.
According to Guinness World Records, Tinniswood passed away in Southport, England on Monday, November 25.

Tinniswood was born on August 26, 1912 in Liverpool.
Tinniswood had a wife, Blodwen, but she passed away in 1986 after 44 years of marriage. They also have an only daughter.
In April 2024 at the age of 111, he was considered the world's oldest man after the passing of 114-year-old Juan Vicente Pérez from Venezuela.
From the age of 100 to 110, Tinniswood received an annual birthday card from Queen Elizabeth II.
When he was still alive, Tinniswood also shared his advice to stay healthy.
“If you drink too much or you eat too much or you walk too much; if you do too much of anything, you’re going to suffer eventually.”
He also has advice for the younger generation or Gen Z.
"Always do the best you can, whether you’re learning something or whether you’re teaching someone."
"Give it all you’ve got. Otherwise it’s not worth bothering with," he added.
Meanwhile, the oldest man ever is Jiroemon Kimuramula from Japan who reached up to 116 years old, (1897-2013).
