MANILA, Philippines – 'Hello, Love, Again' is now making history for highest opening gross for a local movie.
According to ABS-CBN News, the movie starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards, earned over Php 85 million on its first day.
It surpassed the opening gross of Php 75 million set by Vice Ganda and Coco Martin's 'The Super Parental Guardians' in 2016.

'Hello, Love, Again' opened to 500 cinemas throughout the Philippines on November 13.
Reports said that the film will be shown in 1,000 cinemas worldwide.
A day before the official release in theaters, a red carpet world premiere was held at SM Megamall. The star-studded event was attended by the film's cast and crew members including the lead stars Kathryn and Alden, and director Cathy Garcia-Sampana.
Aside from the "Hello, Love, Again" cast, the grand event was also attended by GMA Network and ABS-CBN executives as well as Kapuso and Kapamilya stars.
'Hello, Love, Again' is the sequel to their 2019 blockbuster hit 'Hello, Love, Goodbye'.
It will continue Joy and Ethan's story five years after the former left Hong Kong for Canada.
The film will also be released in North America, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific. It will also be screened at this year's Asian World Film Festival in Los Angeles.
