He initially wanted to pursue Nursing and planned to shift to a different degree program, but he eventually enjoyed what he was studying, especially being with his classmates.

Like other students, Lozano also faced financial challenges as his mother, an OFW, was supporting his education as well as that of his younger sibling. Fortunately, he was able to secure a scholarship from the Commission on Higher Education or CHED, which he used to support his studies.

Lozano admitted that he performed better during online classes during the pandemic, which caused him difficulties when classes shifted back to face-to-face learning. He even told his mother that he might not graduate as a cum laude, expressing his worries.

Fortunately, his mother really encouraged him and supported him in all his endeavors, especially in the financial aspect, even though he knew she was struggling due to the expenses of his younger sibling's education. He was even moved to tears when his mother gave him money for the registration fee for the board exam, which had to be filed in Baguio.

Lozano admitted that he manifested becoming a topnotcher. He even conducted a self-review for three months and took it very seriously. This dream was also a promise he made to his mother: aside from graduating as a cum laude in college, he would also become a board exam topnotcher. And he did not fail.

Congratulations, Angelo!
