MANILA, Philippines – The lead vocalist of Parokya Ni Edgar, Chito Miranda, has issued a statement on the legal case involving his wife, Neri Naig.

In his social media post on Wednesday, November 27, Chito stated that his wife has never deceived anyone.
Chito also highlighted how kind and helpful Neri is, emphasizing that she is also a victim in this situation as an endorser.
"Praying na ma-sort out na ang lahat ng ito...kawawa naman yung asawa ko,” Chito said.
"Never nanloko si Neri, at never sya nanlamang sa kapwa."
"Never siyang kumuha or nanghingi ng pera kahit kanino man."
"Alam ng lahat yan."
"Tulong lang sya ng tulong hangga't kaya nya."
"Minsan kahit di na nakakabuti sa kanya."
"Kadalasan nga, naaabuso na sya pero hinahayaan nya nalang, basta wala syang ginawang masama."
"Pinapa sa Diyos nya na lang."
"Tulad ngayon, endorser lang sya tapos ginamit yung face nya to get investors."
"Kinasuhan sya ng mga nabiktima."
"Tapos last week, bigla na lang syang inaresto for the same case kahit hindi pa sya binigyan ng notice na may bagong criminal complaint pala laban sa kanya, and di nya na-defend yung sarili nya."

It can be recalled that the Southern Police District released an initial statement saying that an actress-entrepreneur was arrested for allegedly violating the Securities Regulation Code.
The actress, referred to by the alias "Erin," is reportedly facing 14 counts of Securities Regulation Code violations and an estafa case.

She was reportedly apprehended while at a convention center in a mall.
In a report of ABS-CBN News, they confirmed that the actress “Erin” is no other than Neri, the wife of Chito.
The news about Neri's arrest first surfaced in a showbiz-oriented vlog by Ogie Diaz, where he shared information from a source claiming that Mrs. Miranda was indeed apprehended on November 23.
