MANILA, Philippines – Miss Universe Philippines Chelsea Manalo has been named as Miss Universe Asia 2024 at the press conference of the pageant’s Coronation Night on November 17, 2024 (Manila time).

In the video shared by Dyan Castillejo, who was in Mexico City for the Coronation Night, Chelsea can be seen at the press conference being hugged by Anne Jakrajutatip, the current owner of the Miss Universe pageant, during the announcement.
"Hello, maraming salamat. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas. We are making history as Miss Universe Asia," Chelsea said.

Miss Nigeria Chidimma Adetshina named as Miss Universe Africa and Oceania. Miss Peru Tatiana Calmell won as Miss Universe Americas while Finland's Matilda Wirtavuori bagged the Miss Universe Europe and Middle East award.
