Garcia achieved a score of 90.70%, the highest rating among the 12,698 passers of the June 2022 CLE.
He posted on Facebook, July 25, 2022, “There's no success without hardship. Kung gusto mo, pagpapaguran mo.”
Noticeable in Lyen's FB post is the part of the caption that says “Predicted 100.”
In an interview with an entertainment website, Garcia said that from the very beginning, he knew he could top the board exam because they were trained to always set their target and aim for the highest possible score that a person can achieve.
Discipline, hard work, and determination were what Garcia brought with him when he prepared for the review and took the actual board exam. Because of this, he was overjoyed with the results of the board exam after securing the number 1 spot.
One of the reasons he was determined to become a topnotcher was the peer pressure from his classmates, especially because he graduated as a cum laude.
In a Facebook story, Garcia shared his secret to his review process. He said, "I managed myself to read review materials per day for 13-14 hours for the first 2 months, 15-16 hours for another 2 months, and 17-18 hours for the last 2 months."
“Nagkakasakit. Napapagod. Nauubusan ng loob ngunit patuloy parin na lumalaban,” he said in a caption.
“Guys, di mo kailangan maging matalino sa board exam. Sipag at determination lang.”
Congratulations!
