Facing her own doubts became the biggest challenge for Ricamhel Villamayor, 24, on her path to becoming a licensed psychometrician.
She clinched No. 7 spot in the August 2024 Psychometrician Licensure Examination with a score of 86%. Aside from this, she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) Antipolo in July 2023.

Both of her parents are Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), and she is the youngest among two siblings.
Villamayor initially dreamed of becoming a businesswoman, but that changed when she entered college.
In an interview, Ricamhel shared that even as a child, she had a strong interest in business, which led her to pursue the ABM (Accountancy, Business, and Management) strand in Senior High School. However, when she entered college, she realized that her true passion lay in helping those struggling with mental health issues.
It was not easy for her in college either, as there were times when she experienced self-doubts.
Her dream of helping the Philippines and providing quality service for the welfare of others, especially in the field of mental health, also became her motivation.
She was able to become a topnotcher even though balancing work and study was difficult. Sleepless nights were her constant companion. Even when her mind and body were extremely exhausted, she decided not to miss any review sessions. In the end, her hard work paid off.
Congratulations, Ricamhel!
