MANILA, Philippines – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) will announce results of August 2024 Civil Service Exam-Paper and Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) also known as Career service examination between October 10-20, 2024 or in 60-70 calendar days after the exam. The list of passers for professional level for Region 6 (Western Visayas) is available on this page once announced.
The second civil service exam this year, with over 300,000 hopefuls, was held on August 11, 2024 in various testing locations nationwide.

GENERATION OF EXAM RESULTS
Examinees, both passed and failed, may get their individual test results using the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS), which can also be accessed through the CSC website.
Passers should coordinate and verify with the CSC Regional Office concerned the availability of their Certification of Eligibility (CoE) and the requirements in claiming it. A complete directory of the CSC Regional Offices is available at the CSC website.
Passers must personally claim their CoE. Representatives are not allowed to claim the same. Claiming of CoE shall be available approximately 30 days after the posting of the List of Passers.
EXAM OVERVIEW
The Career Service Professional and Sub-professional examinations are general ability tests designed to measure an individual's preparedness to enter government service.
Passing rate is set at 80 percent.
The CSC said that eligibility is a minimum requirement – along with education, experience, and training – for permanent appointment to government career service positions.
