Region 4 CSE-PPT H-O Passers Professional: August 2024 Civil service exam result

MANILA, Philippines – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) is set to announce on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 the complete results of August 11, 2024 Civil Service Exam- Paper and Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) also known as Career service examination.

CSC said that a total of 329,318 examinees took the Career Service Examination, representing 91.82 percent of the total number of registered applicants in both Professional and Subprofessional levels across 95 testing centers. This comprised 296,596 examinees for the CSE-Professional Level, and 32,722 examinees for the Subprofessional Level.

Among the regions, the National Capital Region reported the biggest turnout of examinees at 43,476, followed by Regions IV and VI with 38,823 and 25,743 takers, respectively.

REMINDERS

Examinees, both passed and failed, may get their individual test results using the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS), which can also be accessed through the CSC website.

Passers may request for a Certification of Eligibility (CoE) printed on CSC official letterhead. The letterhead CoE is issued free of charge by the concerned CSC Regional or Field Office where the exam was taken.

EXAM OVERVIEW

The Career Service Professional and Sub-professional examinations are general ability tests designed to measure an individual's preparedness to enter government service.

Passing rate is set at 80 percent.

The CSC said that eligibility is a minimum requirement along with education, experience, and training for permanent appointment to government career service positions.
