MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced the top performing school and performance of schools in the October 2024 Chemist board exam.
PRC conducted the Chemistry board exam on October 14 and 15, 2024 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Tacloban and Zamboanga. Meanwhile, the Chemical Technician exam was administered on October 16.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the December 2023 Chemist Licensure Exams, University of the Philippines (UP)-Diliman was the lone top performing school with 83.08% or 54 out of 65 passed.
In the December 2022 Chemist board exams, University of the Philippines - Los Baños (UPLB) was the lone top performing school with 82.35% or 42 out of 51 passed.
In the October 2021 Chemistry board exam, UPLB also topped the schools with 100% passing rate or 8 takers passed. UP-Manila ranked second with 92.31% or 12 out of 13 passed.
