Olivia Rodrigo donates proceeds from Philippine concert to non-profit organization

MANILA, Philippines – Olivia Rodrigo's proceeds from her concert at the Philippine Arena held last Saturday, October 5, went directly to a non-profit organization.

The Filipino-American pop star happily shared in her Instagram post the selected non-profit organization in the country.

“I’m SO stoked that all the net ticket sales from last night could be donated to @jhpiego through my fund 4 good.”

Jhpiego focuses on women's healthcare in the Philippines.

Olivia is very welcome to the said group and can be seen in her Instagram post a photo of the pop star with a tarpaulin with the greeting: "Welcome to Jhpiego Philippines, Ms. Olivia Rodrigo!"

“I got to visit the organization while I was in Manila and was so impressed by the work they are doing providing healthcare to women and girls in the Philippines,” she said.

Jhpiego also was thankful for what they received from the Filipino-American pop star.

“Thank you @oliviarodrigo for joining us at our Jhpiego Philippines office! It was great to talk about women’s health and invite you into a zine-making workshop led by an amazing group of teen girls.”

“Olivia’s initiative, Fund 4 Good and Jhpiego share a vision where young women and girls everywhere can thrive. Jhpiego is committed to developing systems that save lives now and guarantee healthier futures for women,” the organization added.

Meanwhile, Pinoy fans supported the pop star's 'GUTS' world tour even though this was her first time in the Philippines.

“Been dreaming of this show for a whileeeee. my first time in the Philippines and also my biggest venue ever!!!!! thank you to everyone Manila for welcoming me so generously and making me feel so loved,” Olivia said.

Olivia's famous songs include ‘Vampire’, ‘Traitor’, ‘Deja vu’, 'Drivers License' and 'Good 4 u'.

Olivia became famous in the pop music scene when she released in 2021 her album titled 'SOUR'.
