MANILA, Philippines – The full list of topnotchers or top 10 passers in the October 2024 Mining Engineering board exam is available on this page as officially released on October 28-29, 2024 or in two (2) working days after the exam.
PRC and the Board of Mining Engineering conducted the licensure exam (MELE) on October 22, 23 and 24, 2024 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cebu, Cagayan de Oro and Davao.
The second and third day of exams in Legazpi was cancelled due to severe flooding brought about by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine (Trami).

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the August 2023 Mining Engineer board exam, John Mekko Ostonal Payonga from Bicol University - Legazpi led the passers with 88.40%. Franklin Opeña Mejorada Jr. from University of Southeastern Philippines - Davao City came in second place with 88.00%.
In the August-September 2022 Mining Engineer board exam, John Martin Rivera Cirio from University of the Philippines (UP)-Diliman topped the board with 89.40%. Jaime Cumigad Baquiran Jr., also from UP-Diliman, ranked second with 89.30%.
In the August 2021 MELE, Andy Llanita Macasaet from CARAGA State University - Butuan City led the passers with 88.25%. Hobbie Alonzo Capuyan from Cebu Institute of Technology (CIT) - University came in second spot with 88.10%.
In the pre-pandemic era (August 2019), Rachel Angela Penuliar Ferrer from UP - Diliman topped the board with 91.20%. It was followed by Gian Carlo Masagca Seblos, also from UP-Diliman, with 90.50%.
