A heartwarming gesture by a college graduate from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines for his father went viral on TikTok just before his graduation.
Keanne Roeh Isurda graduated as Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) on October 3.
Before his graduation ceremony, Keanne Roeh Isurda had his father, Tatay Rodolfo, wear his toga, which he would use for the ceremony. This brought tears of joy to his father, as Keanne was the first in their family to graduate. Keanne dedicated his achievement to his family.

“Mahal na mahal ko kayong lahat, daddy!! Lahat ng ito ay para sa inyo!!” he captioned.
In the video, Keanne’s emotional father is seen saying that he never had the chance to wear a toga because he didn’t finish his studies, but he is happy that he was able to experience it through his son.
“Hindi ako naka-graduate. Frustration ni tatay ‘nak. Kahit ganito, nakuha ko. ‘Di ko naranasan ‘yan. Hindi ko naranasan ‘yan, ‘yong maka-graduate,” Tatay Rodolfo said.
Because of this, the father requested that his son let him wear the graduation gown and take a video of him.
