MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Military Academy on Wednesday, October 30 announced that 1,099 takers (5.04%) passed the PMA Entrance Examinations (PMAEE) 2024.

PMA said a total of 21,796 aspiring military officers took the examination at four locations on the following dates:
- Mindanao (August 10 and 11)
- Visayas and Region V (August 24 and 25)
- National Capital Region, CALABARZON and MIMAROPA (September 7 and 8)
- Northern and Central Luzon (September 21 and 22)

Those who passed the exams will be undergoing medical, psychological and physical examination which is the next phase in their journey to become PMA cadets.
The Complete Physical Examination (CPE) will be conducted at the Armed Forces of the Philippines Health Service Command (AFPHSC) in V. Luna, Quezon City to determine their physical and mental fitness to undergo a four-year rigid military training inside the premier military institution.
“The selection process of the incoming PMA Class of 2029 is expected to run until the 1st Quarter of CY 2025 in preparation for their admission tentatively on June 2025,” the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) said in another statement.
The PMA Office will then inform the passers of the next steps of the screening process through mail and email.
The annual PMAEE aims to measure the mental ability of examinees in the areas of math (algebra and geometry), English (grammar, composition, and reading and comprehension) and abstract reasoning (verbal and numerical reasoning and pattern analysis).
