MANILA, Philippines – Plan your vacations ahead!

The Malacañang Palace on Thursday, October 31, released the official list of regular holidays and special non-working days for 2025.

In Proclamation No. 727 signed by Executive Secretary Lucas P. Bersamin on October 30, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. declared 10 regular holidays, 4 special non-working days, 1 special working day and 4 additional special non-working days.

On January 29, 2025, Chinese nationals all over the world will celebrate Spring Festival, popularly known as the Chinese New Year, which is one of the most revered and festive events celebrated not only in China but also in the Philippines.

The EDSA People Power Revolution Anniversary on February 25, Tuesday, was declared a special working day.

Meanwhile, the proclamations declaring national holidays for the observance of Eid’l Fitr and Eid’l Adha shall hereafter be issued after the approximate dates of the Islamic holidays have been determined in accordance with the Islamic calendar (Hijra) or the lunar calendar, or upon Islamic astronomical calculations, whichever is possible or convenient.

The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos shall recommend to the Office of the President (OP) the actual dates on which Eid’l Fitr and Eid’l Adha holidays will respectively fall.

Palace stated that the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) shall implement the guidelines for the proclamation.
