FULL RESULTS: October 2024 Geodetic Engineer board exam list of passers, top 10

MANILA, Philippines – The October 2024 Geodetic Engineer licensure exam (GELE) results, including the official list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools, are expected to be released online on October 23, 2024 or in three (3) working days after the last day of exam.

The Geodetic Engineer board exam was conducted in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cebu, Davao, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga on October 17 and 18, 2024.

REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Date of Registration: TBA

Those who will register are required to bring the following:

  • downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • notice of admission (for identification only)
  • 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps
  • 1 piece short brown envelope

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

VERIFICATION OF RATINGS

Geodetic Engineer board exam's verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.

Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service and provide the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.

COVERAGE OF EXAMINATION

The 2-day examination covered the following subjects: laws, rules and regulations, mathematics, theory and practice of surveying (October 17); and geodesy and carthography (October 18).

RELEASE OF RESULTS

According to PRC Resolution No. 1891 series of 2024, the target date of release of October 2024 Geodetic Engineer board exam is on Wednesday, October 23 or in three (3) working days.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS

In the October 2023 Geodetic Engineers board exams, PRC released results in four (4) working days. A total of 644 out of 1,377 passed the exams. University of the Philippines (UP)-Diliman led the schools with 100% passing rate or all 80 takers passed. Joshua Carl Mari Jocoy Fajardo from University of Southeastern Philippines - Davao City clinched the highest spot with 89.60%.

In the October 2022 Geodetic Engineer board exam, PRC announced results in just two (2) working days from the last day of examination. A total of 602 out of 1,142 passed the exams. UP-Diliman topped the schools with 95.74% or 45 out of 47 passed. Ronald Estrada Diaz Jr from University of Southeastern Philippines - Davao City topped the board with 92.40%.

In the March 2022 Geodetic Engineer board exam, PRC released results in one (1) working day. A total of 21 out of 51 passed the exams. None of the schools qualified for the top performing school list. Hannah Mae Ponce Gomez from Negros Oriental State University - Dumaguete was the lone topnotcher with 90.20%.

In the December 2021 Geodetic Engineer board exam, results were released in 2 working days. A total of 375 out of 694 passed the exams. UP-Diliman topped the schools with 97.53% or 79 out of 81 passed. Christian Janlois Arguelles Noriega, from UP-Diliman, led the passers with 91.80%.
