MANILA, Philippines – At the age of 68, Charo Santos-Concio is now a Philippine Air Force Reservist.
Charo shared on social media her latest achievement of becoming the newest member of the country's Air Force.

"It’s never too late to start something new, to challenge yourself, and to keep on growing,” the veteran actress said.
Charo admitted that her journey to become part of the Air Force was not easy but she did not give up and just continued.
"A journey that was as rewarding as it was challenging. There were moments when I doubted myself, wondering if I could meet the demands, but I embraced every challenge, pushed forward, and found joy in each step of the process,” she said.
Because of her experience, the love for the Philippines seems to have come alive in the veteran actress.
“Through this experience, I have discovered a deeper sense of purpose and a renewed love for our country. Spending these past few weeks alongside my fellow reservists has been an honor, and I hope my story encourages you to pursue your passions, face your fears, and keep moving forward. No matter where you are in life, know that growth is always possible,” Charo added.
Charo also thanked those who were with her on her Air Force journey.
