Region 2 Passers SubProfessional: August 2024 Civil Service Exam results

MANILA, Philippines – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced on October 15, 2024 the successful examinees of August 2024 Civil Service Exam - Paper and Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) subprofessional level for Region 2 (Cagayan Valley).

On October 15, CSC finally confirmed that CSE-PPT results will be released today at 12:00 noon.

To quote, "The results from the CSE-PPT 11 August 2024 will be accessible online starting on October 15, 2024, at 12:00 PM. On this date and time, individuals can directly visit this website to view their results."

CSC said that a total of 329,318 examinees, representing 91.82 percent of the total number of registered applicants, took the CSE-PPT on August 11, 2024 in 95 testing centers nationwide. This comprised 296,596 examinees for the CSE-Professional Level, and 32,722 examinees for the Subprofessional Level.

AUGUST 2024 CSE-PPT RESULTS SUMMARY

CS passers who got at least 80 percent score will be eligible for the first level positions in the civil service provided the eligibles meet the qualifications and other requirements of the positions (education, experience, and training).

CS REMINDERS

Examinees, both passed and failed, may get their individual test results using the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS), which can also be accessed through the CSC website.

Passers may request for a Certification of Eligibility (CoE) printed on CSC official letterhead. The letterhead CoE is issued free of charge by the concerned CSC Regional or Field Office where the exam was taken.

Those who will pass should coordinate and verify first if their Certification is already available before going to the CSC Regional/Field Office. Contact numbers of the CSC office may be accessed at the CSC website.

Apart from the letterhead CoE, passers may opt to apply for CoE printed on security paper with fee.

COVERAGE OF EXAM

The CSE-PPT is a general ability test designed to measure an individual's preparedness to enter government service.

The CSE-PPT covered the following subjects (In English and Filipino):

SubProfessional Level (SubProf)

Numerical Ability (basic operations, word problems)
Clerical Ability (filing, spelling)
Verbal Ability (grammar and correct usage, vocabulary, paragraph organization, reading comprehension)

General information items:

Philippine Constitution;
Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees (R.A. 6713);
Peace and Human Rights Issues and Concepts; and
Environment Management and Protection

RELEASE OF RESULTS

The CSC is targeting October 16, 2024 (Wednesday) release of CSE-PPT results or 66 calendar days after the examination. This was announced in an article about the successful conduct of CSE-PPT after determining the exact turnout of takers.

Note that CSC is setting 59 days after exam for 300,000 examinees and 1 day additional for every 5,000 exam slots. For the August 2024 CSE-PPT, total examinees is 329,318, so the computation is around additional of 6 days.

Other factors might also affect the target release of results.

With this, we advise takers to monitor release of results anytime soon or between October 10-20, 2024.
