MANILA, Philippines – Three persons deprived of liberty (PDL) from the Cebu City Jail-Female Dormitory successfully passed the 2024 Civil Service Examination Subprofessional Level.

A total of 47,449 examinees passed the Career Service Examination – Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) held nationwide last August 11, according to the Civil Service Commission (CSC).
CSC added that 42,812 examinees have passed the CSE Professional Level while 4,637 individuals achieved a passing rate for the CSE Subprofessional Level.
For the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), they are proud of the three inmates who passed the CS exam.
"With the collaboration of jail personnel and the Civil Service Commission, this program has empowered PDL to strive for success. Their achievement is a testament to the transformative power of education and rehabilitation within the PDL community,” the bureau said.
The Cebu City Jail-Female Dormitory also congratulated the three inmates on their achievement.
