PAGASA weather forecast

State weather bureau PAGASA announced in its 11:00 pm update on Sunday that the Low Pressure Area (LPA) outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) developed into a Tropical Depression while passing close to Guam.

The center of Tropical Depression was estimated based on all available data at 2,165 km East of Southeastern Luzon. It has maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 55 km/h, and central pressure of 1002 hPa.

PAGASA also issued Orange Warning for Mindoro (Lubang, Looc, Abra de Ilog, Paluan, Mamburao, Santa Cruz, Sablayan, Calintaan, Rizal, San Jose, Magsaysay). This means that flooding is threatening in low-lying areas and landslides in mountainous areas.

Yellow warning was raised over Palawan (Taytay, Sofronio Española, San Vicente, Roxas, Rizal, Quezon, Puerto Princesa City, Narra, Dumaran, Coron, Cagayancillo, Busuanga, Brooke's Point, Bataraza, Balabac, Kalayaan Islands, Araceli, Aborlan).
