Just like this nursing couple from Velez College not only passed the 2023 Philippine Nursing Licensure Exam (PNLE) but also secured spots on the topnotcher's list on Saturday, December 2, 2023.

Arnold Joshua Floresta Tacuyan earned the fourth spot with a 90.40%, while his girlfriend, Alyssa Nicole Buhay, ranked ninth with an 89.40% grade.
Tacuyan was thrilled to learn that both he and his girlfriend not only passed the exam but also made it into the top 10. He felt an overwhelming sense of joy and excitement.
“It was a mix of being overwhelmed and overjoyed. We studied so hard for this, and right now, we are just filled with gratitude knowing that the efforts have paid off,” he said in an interview with SunStar Cebu.
Tacuyan acknowledged that in addition to his family, his girlfriend also played a significant role in his success.
