MANILA, Philippines – President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr. formally announced the lineup of senatorial candidates endorsed by the administration for the 2025 midterm elections during the "Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas Convention 2024" held today, Thursday, September 26, at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City.

Returning to the scene are former senators, Senate President and 2022 vice presidential candidate Tito Sotto III, and 2022 presidential candidates former Sen. Ping Lacson and former Sen. Manny Pacquiao.
Seeking re-election are Senators Lito Lapid, Bong Revilla, Pia Cayetano, Francis Tolentino, and Senator Imee Marcos, the latter being the sibling.
Attempting to enter the Senate are Makati City Mayor Abby Binay, broadcast journalist and former Secretary of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Erwin Tulfo, House Deputy Speaker of Las Piñas City, Lone District Rep. Camille Villar, and Secretary of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Benhur Abalos.

The alliance is composed of five parties, namely the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD), Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC), Nacionalista Party (NP), and the National Unity Party (NUP).
President Marcos also led and witnessed the signing of the manifesto for the mentioned alliance.
Signing on behalf of their respective parties were South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo Tamayo Jr. for PFP, House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez for Lakas-CMD, Presidential Adviser on Legislative Affairs and Presidential Legislative Liaison Office (PLLO) Secretary Mark Llandro Mendoza for NPC, former Senate President Manuel Villar Jr. for NP, and Camarines Sur 2nd District Representative Luis Raymund Villafuerte Jr. for NUP.
