MANILA, Philippines – KaladKaren and Luke Wrightson’s love has gone to a wedding in England.
On September 8, 2024, Sunday, KaladKaren, whose legal name is Jervi Li, got married to her longtime British boyfriend. The news anchor and TV host even described it as a "wedding in the clouds."

Their wedding was surrounded by fog, on what they expected to be a sunny day in North Yorkshire, England.
“Luke and I dreamed of a beautiful sunny day in this fantastic cliff top wedding venue in England. It’s supposed to have the best overlooking views in North Yorkshire. On our wedding day, ironically, the views were covered by a thick fog! It was almost zero visibility!!!!!! What a one in a million chance!” the news anchor said in her Instagram post.
But even though the weather changed, KaladKaren and Luke's love prevailed more on their long-awaited day.
“Unlucky? Not at all. But marrying the love of my life surrounded by our dearest friends and families … makes me feel the luckiest woman alive! And hey, who else can say they got married in the clouds?!” she said.

Just last August, the two celebrated their 12th anniversary.
Meanwhile, in July 2024, 'Proposal 2.0' happened in London, United Kingdom where Luke proposed again to KaladKaren.
According to KaladKaren, the first proposal happened in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Luke and I got engaged in the middle of pandemic, 4 years ago. It was just us two locked down in our apartment and we didn’t even have the chance to have a proper photo shoot until now.”

“I thought it was just an ordinary prenup shoot! Sobrang gulat ko nang muli siyang nag-propose here in our favorite city at may ring upgrade!!!! Huhuhu Worth the wait! You make me the happiest, my love!” she added.
