CSE-PPT List of Passers: August 2024 Civil Service Exam SubProfessional

MANILA, Philippines – The complete list of passers of the August 11, 2024 Civil Service Exam or Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) for SubProfessional Level exam is available here on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.

"The test results are set to be released through posting of the lists of passers on the CSC website by 16 October," the Civil Service Commission (CSC) advised in an article about the successful conduct of CSE-PPT.

According to CSC, 32,722 individuals tried to hurdle the CSE SubProfessional Level exam in 16 regions nationwide.

Verification of Rating via OCSERGS

Examinees, both passed and failed, can generate their individual test result using the OCSERGS based on CSC advisory.

OCSERGS can be accessed through the CSC website or through this link (https://erpo.csc.gov.ph/ocsergs/).

The agency further announced that no report of rating shall be mailed to individual examinees.

Certification of Eligibility (CoE)

Passers may request for a Certification of Eligibility (CoE) printed on CSC official letterhead. The letterhead CoE is issued free of charge by the concerned CSC Regional or Field Office where the exam was taken.

Passers may also opt to apply for regular Certification of Eligibility (printed on security paper at cost).

Civil Service Exam Coverage

The examination aims to measure the individual’s preparedness to enter government service.

The CSE-PPT covered the following subjects (in English and Filipino):

SubProfessional Level (SubProf) - 165 items; time limit is 2 hours and 40 minutes

  • Numerical Ability (number sequence, basic operation, and word problem)
  • Clerical Ability (filing, spelling)
  • Verbal Ability (vocabulary, grammar and correct usage, and correct reasoning of thought process)

It also covers general information subjects like Philippine Constitution, Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees (R.A. 6713), Peace and Human Rights Issues and Concepts; and Environment Management and Protection.

Passing Score

CSC said that passers who got at least 80 percent rating will be eligible for a position in the civil service provided the eligibles meet the qualifications and other requirements - education, experience, and training.

2024 Civil Service Exam Schedule

The next Civil Service Exam for Professional and Sub-Professional Levels is expected in March 2025. Application period will be announced later this year.
