CSE-PPT List of Passers: August 2024 Civil Service Exam Professional

MANILA, Philippines – The list of passers of the August 11, 2024 Civil Service Exam or Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) for Professional Level exam is available on the CSC website www.csc.gov.ph and and also posted here on October 15, 2024.

"The results from the CSE-PPT 11 August 2024 will be accessible online starting on October 15, 2024, at 12:00 PM. On this date and time, individuals can directly visit CSC website to view their results," CSC said.

UPDATE: A total of 47,449 out of 329,465 (14.40%) examinees passed the CS exams.

CSC further said that 42,812 examinees, constituting 14.43 percent of the 296,758 total candidates, have passed the CSE Professional Level.

Verification of Rating via OCSERGS

Examinees, both passed and failed, can generate their individual test result using the OCSERGS not later than October 27 2024.

OCSERGS can be accessed through the CSC website or through this link (https://erpo.csc.gov.ph/ocsergs/).

The agency further announced that no report of rating shall be mailed to individual examinees.

Certification of Eligibility (CoE)

Passers may request for a Certification of Eligibility (CoE) printed on CSC official letterhead by November 20, 2024. The letterhead CoE is issued free of charge by the concerned CSC Regional or Field Office where the exam was taken.

The security paper CoE and its authenticated copy/ies may be applied for and obtained from any of the 16 CSC ROs nationwide, regardless of the place of examination, also by November 20, 2024.

Civil Service Exam Coverage

The examination aims to measure the individual’s preparedness to enter government service.

The CSE-PPT covered the following subjects (in English and Filipino):

Professional Level (Prof) -170 items with a time limit of 3 hours and 10 minutes

  • Numerical Ability (number sequence, basic operation, and word problem)
  • Analytical Ability (word analogy and logical reasoning)
  • Verbal Ability (vocabulary, grammar and correct usage, and correct reasoning of thought process)

It also covers general information topics like Philippine Constitution, Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees (R.A. 6713), Peace and Human Rights Issues and Concepts; and Environment Management and Protection.

Passing Score

CSC said that passers who got at least 80 percent rating will be eligible for a position in the civil service provided the eligibles meet the qualifications and other requirements - education, experience, and training.

2024 Civil Service Exam Schedule

The next Civil Service Exam for Professional and Sub-Professional Levels is on March 2, 2025. Application runs from November 19, 2024 until January 3, 2025.
