MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced the top performing schools and performance of schools in the August 2024 Mechanical Engineering (ME) board exam.
PRC conducted the licensure exam in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Davao on August 16, 17 and 18, 2024.

Here's the performance of schools in the August 2024 Mechanical Engineer (ME) and Certified Plant Mechanics (CPM) board exam in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation":
PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the February 2024 Mechanical Engineer (ME) board exam, University of Science & Tech of Southern Philippines-CDO topped the schools with 97.33% or 73 out of 75 passed. Bicol University - Legazpi ranked second with 93.33% or 70 out of 75 passed.
In the August 2023 ME board exam, De La Salle University (DLSU)-Manila topped the schools with 96.88% or 62 out of 64 passed. Batangas State University (BatSU)-Alangilan ranked second with 91.67% or 121 out of 132 passed.
In the February 2023 ME board exam, University of Science and Tech of Southern Phils-CDO topped the schools with 100% passing rate or all 44 of its takers passed. Iloilo Science and Tech University came in second with 97.78% or 44 out of 45 passed.
In the August 2022 Mechanical Engineer licensure exams, BatSU-Alangilan named top performing school with 94.19% or 227 out of 241 passed. DLSU-Manila came in second with 89.58% or 43 out of 48 passed.
In the February 2022 ME licensure exams, Bohol Island State University - Tagbilaran topped the schools with 90.70% or 78 out of 86 passed. BatSU-Alangilan ranked second with 89.20% or 157 out of 176 passed.
