The post of motivational speaker, entrepreneur, and book author Jonathan Yabut received a wave of reactions and comments from netizens, targeting those who use a PWD card to obtain discounts, but are actually just faking their condition.

"Dear friend who is using a PWD card, but you're faking the condition because you're greedy to enjoy the discounts," he said on his Facebook post.
His sarcastic wish, "I pray that you don't turn out to be genuinely a PWD in the future."
According to Yabut's additional perspective, it's sad that everything can now be faked, even medical certificates, just to obtain a PWD card, which can be used for various discounts and privileges. He himself witnessed this from a friend who has a relative who is a doctor.
"The saddest part is that it's easy to fake medical certs so people can get a PWD card too. And that there are doctors also who take part in issuing those fake certs as well, including for their relatives. Had to call out a friend who did this and even bragged about it. It is very unfair to the real PWDs, and also for the businesses who grant the discounts. There must be stricter controls for this," he mentioned.
Yabut clarified that he is not attacking legitimate PWDs, but only those who are faking their conditions.
"Daming na-trigger 😂✌🏻If you're genuinely PWD and you went through the legit process, this post's intention is to CHAMPION and DISTINGUISH you from the fake ones. PWD conditions can be visible OR invisible. You cannot fake disability obviously, but you can fake med certs, fake IDs, and fake paperwork. Know the difference folks and please apply critical thinking," he said.
"ALSO DISABILITY ang mga nagcocomment na hindi nagets ang essence ng message 😂✌🏻 Magbasa at intidihin ng mabuti bago ma-trigger. The message CLEARLY says "Faked" (PWD card was not legitimitately acquired + is in good fit condition). Kaya di tayo umuunlad eh."
