Gamer reveals tips on how to ace Aeronautical Engineer Licensure Exam

What is the secret to becoming a topnotcher in a board exam, such as the Aeronautical Engineer Licensure Exam?

For Guiseppe Andrew Buffe, who topped the Aeronautical Engineer Licensure Exam in November 2016 with a rating of 91.60%, he claimed he didn't exert much effort. He also admitted he wasn't particularly strong in Math and Science, essential parts of Engineering courses.

But for Buffe, the key to success lies in exceptional time management and study habits, which he emphasized.

"People should also refrain from thinking that when someone is not that good in math or science, they must not take engineering courses. With proper study habits, frequent practice, and a little help from anyone, you can survive aeronautical engineering," Buffe said in an interview with a local newspaper.

Interestingly, despite his busy schedule, Buffe managed to indulge in his hobbies, like playing online games such as League of Legends.

He also advocated for group study sessions, which he joined to save time and enhance learning. According to him, rote memorization isn't necessary; understanding the concepts and information being studied is more crucial. He acknowledged that not everything can be taught and learned in class.

Buffe also stressed the importance of finding good references, investing in a reliable calculator, and a personal computer for computer-aided design (CAD) subjects.

"I believe that with proper study habits, frequent practice, and a little help from anyone, you can survive aeronautical engineering," he reiterated.

As a final tip, he suggested reducing the use of social media.

He is with Cebu Pacific as an aircraft engineer.
