MANILA, Philippines – After 22 years, popular content creator Bogart the Explorer, Marco Antonio Ho in real life, is back in college.

In his Facebook post on Friday, August 16, titled 'freshman in my forties', he shared his journey as he goes back to college.

As a kid, Bogart saw himself as a national scientist but as expected, things in life didn't go as planned.

Way back in 2002, Bogart started studying in University of the Philippines (UP) - Diliman taking Industrial Engineering but after years of staying in college, he didn't get on stage and didn't get a diploma either.

After his college phase, this is where he entered showbiz and flourished in his new career.

But even after becoming a famous content creator, Bogart still considered going back to college and now he is a student at Caraga State University taking a Bachelor of Science in Agroforestry.

Bogart, on the other hand, encouraged people who were having second thoughts about going to college in their old age.

“To those who feel that fear of being "too old" for school or too late to start over, I want you to know this: the only thing standing between you and your dreams is the fear of taking that first step. Don’t let that fear stop you. Life is too short to let your dreams pass you by.”

“If you have a dream, no matter how long it’s been on the shelf, dust it off and give it the life it deserves. It's never too late,” the content creator added.

In a separate Instagram post, Bogart stressed the importance of learning no matter what your age.

“Age is just a number, and learning is a lifelong journey. If you’re holding back because you think it’s too late, I’m here to tell you it’s not. Don’t let fear keep you from your dreams. Whether you’re 20 or pushing 50, the best time to learn and grow is now.”

“This isn’t about just a diploma anymore,—it’s about making an actual difference. Let’s grow together,” Bogart said.
