Siblings who graduated magna cum laude honor their parents

Two siblings, both magna cum laude in their respective courses, dedicated the honors they received to their parents who supported their education through college until they graduated with flying colors.

According to a viral Facebook post of Rhonn John Viel L. Aligarbes, magna cum laude in the Bachelor of Physical Education degree program, their father is a construction worker and their mother is a canteen helper. Their parents often said before that they might not be able to support them all at once through college, because they all know how challenging and expensive it can be.

But because their parents saw their desire to study and the many scholarships they received, their parents didn't give up. They endured the heat of their daily work just to support their children's college education in the degree program they wanted. Rhonn also worked as a student to help out.

After four years of their respective studies in college, both Rhonn and his sister Ronna May graduated magna cum laude in the Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree program. Additionally, Ronna May was also ranked 5th in the Certified Human Resource Associate Examination nationwide, and she was chosen as the Batch Valedictorian.

Congratulations to the both of you!
