MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor won the jackpot prize of Php 17.6 million on Monday's Mega Lotto draw, July 8, 2024.
The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said the lucky winner, who bought winning ticket from a lotto outlet at F. Zamora Street in Odiongan, Romblon, bagged the Php 17,567,700.60 jackpot prize of the Mega Lotto 6/45. The bettor guessed the winning combination 36-25-19-37-07-11.

All jackpot prizes must be claimed at the PCSO main office in Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City.
Winner must write his/her name and signature on the back of the winning ticket and present two government-issued identification cards or documents.
He/she has one year from the date of the draw to claim the prize, as specified in Republic Act 1169, the law on PCSO lotteries.
As provided under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than P10,000 shall be subject to a 20% tax.
The selling agent will get a prize commission of 1 percent of the jackpot prize without exceeding PHP1 million.
Meanwhile, 40 bettors who guessed five correct numbers won second prize and will receive Php 32,000 each.
1,549 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 1,000 each. 23,895 players won Php 30 each for guessing three numbers.
The Mega Lotto was last won on June 26, 2024 by a bettor who bought their winning ticket from a lotto outlet in Pili, Camarines Sur.
The 6/45 Mega Lotto is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products in order to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
One of its key programs is the Medical Access Program (MAP), which is designed to augment the medical needs of Filipinos nationwide, particularly hospital confinement, chemotherapy, dialysis, and post-transplant medicines.
The program is funded by revenues from PCSO games nationwide.
