As the old saying goes, "Try and try until you succeed." But what if you've reached 33 attempts and still haven't achieved your goal? Will you stop now?
It seems that stopping isn't in the vocabulary of 47-year-old Jorge Alejo from Isabela, because on his 34th attempt to take the Licensure Examination for Teachers, he finally passed!

According to the Brigada report, Jorge first attempted the exam in 1999, and from there, he experienced continuous failures.
However, Jorge did not give up, and after 25 years, he finally achieved his dream in March 2024 LET.
Alejo shared that he struggled through his studies due to the hardships of life.
Now, Alejo plans to apply to the Department of Education as a teacher. You can read Jorge's gratitude in his Facebook post dated May 28.
Thank you everyone.”
